The activities of international students in SEPP include:
- Chatting with ZIGSU students in English
- Attending classes of Chinese language and culture
- Sightseeing at weekends
From May 2006 to May 2009, 390 international students from 8 countries have participated in SEPP at ZJSU.

- Improving their spoken English and knowledge
- Raising their awareness of foreign cultures
- Helpful for their job-seeking and future development

SEPP at ZJSU is an effective interactive mode of ELT and communication among students with different cultures. Establishing a global village through SEPP is much meaningful to ZJSU.
With the popularity of SEPP, ZJSU creates the idea of SCPP, which stands for "Spoken Chinese Promotion Project". From 2008, we have sent 6 delegations to the Phillippines, Thailand and Bangladesh. And SFPP (Spoken French Promotion Project) is in the planning. It is a good opportunity for our students to go abroad to see the outside world and a good way to spread Chinese culture. |
