SEPP: Spoken English Promotion Project, SCPP: Spoken Chinese Promotion Project
In order to help students to improve their competitive abilities in job-seeking and future professional development, the University began to deliver Spoken English Promotion Project (SEPP) from 2001.
In SEPP, students are organized into groups of 4 to 6. The participants are required to practice spoken English on given topics among them for 30 minutes per workday after class.
Students gained much benefit from SEPP. The number of ZJSU students who participated in SEPP has increased very quickly year by year as showed in the following:

The financial support covers the following expenses for international
students:
- transportation within Hangzhou and local sightseeing at weekends
- food and accommodation in ZJSU during the period
- Lectures of Chinese language, culture and other topics |
